A Bit About Me

I try my best to keep wedding days lighthearted and fun. Things can get stressful in the blink of an eye, so it’s always good to have someone who has been there, done that, and can get you through it with a smile :)

I’m a comfortable mix of the traditional style of shooting your grandma is going to love, the photojournalistic feel to get you all the great candid moments from your big day that you probably missed, and the editorial twist that makes you feel like you belong in a magazine.

I like to work with people who want to work with me, not with people who are just checking a box because they need a photographer for their wedding. If that’s you, holler at me and let’s make this thing official!

I’m an all-around unserious human. I’m a big fan of the small things in life, which guides how I see wedding days. The stolen glances, the laughter after the joke, that’s my jam.

It’s the way your parents smile as you walk down the aisle. It’s seeing your grandma cry after seeing you in your wedding dress for the first time. I All these little things, these small, unique happenings, are what separate your day from everyone else’s – the romantic, the soft, the loud, the hilarious – it’s all there. All of that is equally as important as the glamorous side of it all.

With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I’ve gotten pretty good at making people who hate the camera feel right at home in front of it. aside from knowing how to work a camera, my best skill is being able to create a comfortable space where you can be yourself.

I’ve done weddings on mountaintops and on sidewalks, in beautiful churches and on sandy beaches. I’ve trekked through rainforests, navigated busy city streets, and even frequented city hall for a wedding (or five). There’s nowhere I won’t go, no wedding I won’t shoot, and no couple I won’t work with. All have a seat at this table.
